CSDG organized a workshop on qualitative research methods and the use of the analytical program MAXQDA with the participation of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism and the responsible institutions for the implementation of the National Strategy for Countering Violent Extremism (NSCVE).

As part of the support component for strengthening research capacities, CSDG organized the Workshop “Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis Through the MAXQDA Software Program”. The workshop was conducted in the framework of the project supported by Hedayah to conduct research to guide messages and narratives against Violent Extremism in the Municipality of Tirana and to strengthen the research and strategic communication capacities of the Center for Counting Violent Extremism.

MAXQDA serves to provide knowledge in quality datasets and allows simplified classification, structuring and analysis of large amounts of text or other data. The knowledge gained will serve the participants to conduct research in the framework of the implementation of the National Strategy for Countering Violent Extremism and for the purpose of interpreting the research conducted by other researchers on this topic.
