The process for the re-evaluation of the candidates for the High Judicial Council and the High Prosecutorial Council have been concluded in November.
However this process may not be considered completed if the high number of appeals to the Special Appeals College will not lead to the failure of the already confirmed candidates, although the General Meeting of the Prosecutors and the General Meeting of the judges may proclaim the establishment of these two key bodies of the governance of the judicial system.
Despite the result of this process, the establishment of the Special Courts against corruption and organized crime and SPAK will undergo other procedures such as the re-evaluation of special judges and prosecutors, their family members and then their appointment.
This second issue of SPAK Monitor is dedicated to the finalization of the establishment of the courts against corruption and organized crime and SPAK.
