4th evaluation report on the activity of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) and the Special Courts against Corruption and Organized CrimeIn the framework of the project:

CSDG – The Center for the Study of Democracy and Governance presented today the 4th evaluation report on the activity of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) and the Special Courts against Corruption and Organized Crime.

This report provides a civil society perspective on the performance of these institutions in addressing high-level corruption and organized crime — two major issues affecting Albanian society.

The main objective is to offer a comprehensive assessment by analyzing both quantitative and qualitative aspects of these institutions’ activities, and to create an independent platform for constructive discussion among stakeholders, the media, and the general public.

Today’s discussions marked an important step in generating recommendations for further improvement of the performance analysis of these institutions and enhancing the effectiveness of measures in the fight against corruption and organized crime.

Additionally, the exchange of experiences aimed to further promote and strengthen dialogue and cooperation between civil society and justice institutions, with the goal of increasing transparency and accountability.

We extend our gratitude to the representatives of the Special Institutions, the Parliament of Albania, the High Prosecutorial Council, the High Judicial Council, representatives of international missions in Albania, and all participants for their contributions and engagement in this roundtable discussion.
