Security in a democracy is one of the essential conditions and a prerequisite for freedom, social and economic development. The Security program conducts in depth research and critical analysis on security issues, security sector reform and governance, security and human rights. It combines rigorous research and policy consultancy and functions as a bridge between academia and practice. The program contributes to informing the policy arenas and shaping the public discourse on security through the specialized publication Revista e Sigurisë.
